The River Chronicle

I have lived in New Martinsville nearly all my life. I have read the Wetzel Chronicle consistently for the past three years. Its seems like if a student at Paden City or Magnolia sneezes they get a color photograph on the top fold front page the next week. A student living further East in Wetzel County could discover the cure for cancer and receive page 6 news placement. Just like today's issue for example: Front Page Top Fold: Mr. Jackson asking for an extra half time history teacher at Magnolia. Back page: Mr. Mcpherson receiving the Principal position at Valley High School. This is just one instance of dozens. Is it a monetary decision? Not only can the Chronicle not afford a spell checker and person to proof-read their paper before print, but also must bet that people East of the Ohio River can't read?
