PC Selects Casteel As New Mayor

Paden City elected a new Mayor on Thursday, July 24, 2020, with lifetime resident Marc "Rick" Casteel defeating former mayor and councilman Clyde Hochstrasser by a vote of 207-125. Casteel easily won all three wards and will take his seat at the next regular scheduled council meeting in August.

Also elected were three councilmen who were all unopposed for their seats on council. Steve Kastigar received 96 vote to represent Ward Three. John "J.P." Springer received 125 votes to represent Ward two, and Ear "Bob" Kendle received 84 votes to represent Ward one.

The Mayor and Councilmen were elected for two year terms.
