Feed the Need Receives Support From Dominion Energy

January 29, 2020
Wetzel Chronicle

The Feed the Need Program at the Wetzel County Museum received funding from Dominion as part of their Critical Community Needs Initiative. This initiative goes toward helping the citizens get access to food, shelter, and medical care in the communities in which Dominion Energy operates. The check for $5000 was presented to Holly Morgan, manager of the Wetzel County Museum, by Christine Mitchell, External Affairs Manager from Dominion Energy. The money will go toward providing sack lunches to those in the community who are experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. To date there have been 14,516 lunches distributed through the program.

Donations are always accepted; checks can be written to Friends of Wetzel County (please write Feed the Need in the memo portion) or sack lunch items can be dropped off at the Wetzel County Museum.
