Fortune To Perform at the Paden City Labor Day Celebration

Spend an evening with Country Music Hall of Fame and Gospel Music Hall of Fame member Jimmy Fortune as he performs a free concert at the Paden City Labor Day Celebration on Monday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. Throughout his 21-year tenure with The Statler Brothers and current solo career, Fortune has performed in all of the U.S. States, in Canadian Provinces, and in front of audiences as large as 100,000.

Fortune is on tour in support of his latest album, God & Country, released via Gaither Music Group.

God & Country was produced by Ben Isaacs of the multi-award winning family group The Isaacs. The project reflects and celebrates the beauty of America, the courage of those who have made it free, and the hymns that have warmed the hearts of its citizens for centuries. Gaither Music Group also released Fortune's critically-acclaimed releases Hits & Hymns and Jimmy Fortune Sings The Classics.

God & Country includes a new-rendition of The Statler Brothers' Top 10 hit "More Than a Name on a Wall," which Fortune wrote during his time with the group along with their chart-topping hits "Elizabeth," "My Only Love" and "Too Much On My Heart." The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2007 and Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008, while Fortune was also inducted as a solo artist to the Virginia Musical Hall of Fame last year.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Gospel Music Hall of Fame Member Jimmy Fortune's new Gaither Music Group album, God & Country, was released across all music platforms on May 24 as well as in Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations.

It's a combination of national classics and congregational favorites reflect and celebrate the beauty of America, the courage of those who have made it free and the hymns that have warmed the hearts of its citizens for centuries.

It Includes a new-rendition of The Statler Brothers' Top 10 hit "More Than a Name on a Wall," written by the 21-year Statler Brothers member, as well as a new song "Meet Me at Arlington," which was written by Fortune and Dave Clark with inspiration from the story of a Gold Star mother challenging a teacher who panned the military.

Produced by Ben Isaacs of the multi-award winning family group The Isaacs. The tracks were recorded, mixed and engineered at Ben's Den by Isaacs and Mark Capps and mastered at Georgetown Masters by Andrew Mendelson.

Advertised as part of a special television offer on DISH TV, DirecTV, RFD-TV, Gaither Television Network, TBN, FamilyNet, CTN, GMC, GMTN, Guardian, Liberty, TCT and TLN, and will air in Canada on Vision TV, CTS, The Miracle Channel and Hope TV.
