Spotlight: PC’s Jason Anderson

July 3, 2019
Wetzel Chronicle

Paden City senior Jason Anderson is a fine multi-sport athlete who excels in every sports he participates in. He is Mr. Steady in football where he does a better than exceptional job on defense, which helped him earn second team All Mason-Dixon. He made well over 80 tackles and led the team in quarterback sacks. He also was better than average in basketball where he was Mr. Money when collecting rebounds and making himself a steady player on the foul line, and making close to 80 percent from the line and even better inside the paint where he had the teams top shooting percentage. In track he excels in the discus and the shot year after year. He won the Mason-Dixon discus event and was second in the shot-put, and qualified for state, where he finished 11th.

We asked Jason a few questions so many of our readers can get to know him a little better, and these are the answers he gave:

Who is your favorite collegiate or professional sports hero? Troy Polamalu
