Patrick Mirandy was 12-19 and tossed four touchdown passes, while Jason Beisel rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, to lead Magnolia to its fourth win - and third in a row - with a 35-0 shutout Sept. 28 in Woodsfield on the Seminoles' homecoming night.

Neither team could pull the trigger on their first two possessions, but on its third possession, Magnolia's Beisel set sail into the Seminoles' end zone on a nifty run to give the Blue Eagles a 6-0 lead. The conversion attempt was no-good.

Later in the first quarter, the Eagles were knocking on the door at the Seminoles' 24-yard line, before coughing up the ball. However, two plays later, the 'Noles returned the the favor with one of their own, with the Eagles Isaac Keller recovering.

The Blue Eagles’ Gage Adams looks like he will change directions on a positive run.

A few plays later, Mirandy hooked up with Beisel with a 20-yard catch and run early in the second period to push the advantage to 14-0 after Dakota Litton threw it to a wide open Silas McKeever for a two pointer, and a 14-0 lead.

Up to this point of the game, the Blue Eagle defense limited the Seminoles to 14 yards of total offense, and no first downs. However, the Eagles committed their first penalty of the game, and would cash it in with a first down, but would soon punt again, and the Big Blue was ready to take advantage, 81 yards away.

Mirandy would hook up with Matthew Gaiser on a 11-yard pitch and catch. After two straight completions to Stickler, the Blue Eagles were in business very late in the second period. Beisel was tripped up on a nifty 29-yard run for its 10th first down. Beisel gained two more yards, and Mirandy tossed an incomplete pass to stop the clock with 34 ticks on the clock left in the first half. Mirandy would then connect with Stickler for the third time in the possession for a 17-yard touchdown highlight catch to give the Eagles a 21-0 lead at the break after the Mirandy PAT kick.

After Monroe Central crowned its 2018 homecoming queen, the Seminoles returned the second half kick near midfield. But after two modest runs, Jared Barrows recovered a second Seminole fumble. On its first play from scrimmage, Mirandy connected with Stickler for the second time for a 41-yard touchdown bomb to put Magnolia on top, 28-0.

The Eagles defense held Monroe Central on another three and out and went on its last scoring drive of the game on a Mirandy to Gavin Postlethwait 11-yard throw and catch.

Mirandy was 12-19 for 154 yards and four touchdowns and one interception through the air, while gaining 27 yards on eight carries. Beisel finished with 162 yards on 19 carries, while Gage Adams added 27 yards, with Mikey Hamrick and Marcus Barnes each adding four yards

Stickler caught seven passes for 106 yards and two scores, while Beisel hauled in one pass for 20 yards and anther touchdown. Gaiser caught to passes for 26 yards, with Postlethwait adding a 11 yard touchdown pass.
