Indictments Announced For May

The Wetzel County Grand Jury met behind closed doors recently and returned several indictments. They are as follows:

Joshua Stephen Lyons, 36, of 1778 Villers Road, New Martinsville, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury with two felony charges - Child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury, and malicious assault.

Joseph Tyler Marcum, 28, of 1421 6th Ave., Charleston, W.Va., received a five count felony indictment and a separate two count felony indictment from the Wetzel County Grand Jury. He is charged with escape from custody, grand larceny, felony destruction of property, felony destruction of property, and fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement officer.

The other indictment charges him with grand larceny and felony destruction of property. Both indictments and all seven offenses are alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on April 27.

Collin Anthony Reynolds, 23, of 632b Brown Ferry Road, Carmichaels, Pa., received a one count felony indictment from the Wetzel County Grand Jury for sexual abuse in the first degree. The offense is alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on September 18, 2017.

Jimmy D. Freeze, 43, of 217 South Mill Street, Orrville, Ohio, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury on two felony counts - Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver, and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver.

Both offenses are alleged to have occurred on August 5, 2017 in Wetzel County.

Joshua Samuel Henry, 36, of 643 James Street, New Martinsville, is charged in a one count felony indictment by the Wetzel County Grand Jury with obtaining a controlled substance (Xanax) by misrepresentation, fraud, or deception.

The offense is alleged to have occurred on Feb. 14 in New Martinsville, Wetzel County.

Jason Earl Higginbotham, 33, of 27 1/2 Chestnut Street, Idamay, W.Va., is charged in a two count felony indictment by the Wetzel County Grand Jury - possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver.

Both offenses are alleged to have occurred on Jan. 28 in Wetzel County.

Patricia Jane Jenkins, 39, of 214 Coal Lick Run Road, Mannington, W.Va., is charged in a two count felony indictment by the Wetzel County Grand Jury - possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver.

Both offenses are alleged to have occurred on January 28, 2018, in Wetzel County.

Daniel Ray Kessler, 19, of 187 N. St. Rt. 2, Apt. E 204, New Martinsville, is charged in a one count felony indictment by the Wetzel County Grand Jury with Robbery in the second degree. The offense is alleged to have occurred on January 6, 2018, in Wetzel County.

Dillon Keith Lemasters, 25, of 1155 Crows Run Road, Reader, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury with two felony offenses of conspiracy to commit nighttime burglary and nighttime burglary. Both offenses are alleged to have occurred on March 16 in Wetzel County.

Caitlin Taylor Parsons, 27, of 4890 Veterans Highway, New Martinsville, WV, received a one count felony indictment from the Wetzel County Grand Jury charging her with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver. The offense is alleged to have occurred on October 5, 2017, in Wetzel County.

Kimberly Dawn Quinn, 32, of 329 Maple Ave., New Martinsville, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury on a four count indictment. Counts one and two are felony offenses of Aid in concealing stolen goods and conspiracy to aid in concealing stolen goods. Counts three and four are misdemeanor offenses of transferring stolen goods and conspiracy to transfer stolen goods. All four offenses are alleged to have occurred in November 2017, in Wetzel County.

Austin David Rhodes, 22, of 401 Front Street, Friendly, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury on two felony counts of conspiracy to commit nighttime burglary and nighttime burglary. Both offenses are alleged to have occurred in Wetzel County on March 16.

Elizabeth Ann Shaver, 26, of 112 Helen Street, Paden City, received a one count felony indictment from the Wetzel County Grand Jury for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver. The offense is alleged to have occurred on Feb. 21 in Wetzel County.

Courtney Alina White, 29, of 28 Rose Street Lot 88N, New Martinsville, was indicted by the Wetzel County Grand Jury on 13 counts. She was charged with two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering, eight counts of conspiracy and one count of financial exploitation of an elderly person. All 13 counts are felonies and are alleged to have occurred during the month of July 2017, in Wetzel County.

Joshua Raymond Wilson, 35, of 1133 4th Street Lot 88N., New Martinsville, received a four count indictment from the Wetzel County Grand Jury charging him with two felonies and two misdemeanors. He is charged with Aid in concealing stolen goods, and conspiracy to aid in stolen goods (both felonies) and transferring stolen goods plus conspiracy to transfer stolen goods (both misdemeanors). The offenses are alleged to have occurred in November and December of 2017.
