A Memorable Commencement

February 14, 2018
Wetzel Chronicle

Kudos to Wetzel County Schools Superintendent Ed Toman and Paden City High School Principal Jay Salva for their collective and organized efforts in making Feb. 10 a special day for Carloss Gray and his family.

Carloss Gray is a true American hero. He has an amazing legacy of service to his country, county, and community. Not only is Gray a United States Navy veteran, but he also served as a constable for Tyler County, and he volunteered for the Paden City Volunteer Fire Department. Gray deserved every bit of the pomp and circumstance of Saturday, and we are so grateful to have such a remarkable school system, and community, who came together to give him this moment that he and his family so richly enjoyed. We hope to see more of these events in the future, as they reflect the very best parts of our community.
