A young lady at Tyler Consolidated High School, Leah Nottingham, is holding a "Cots for Critters" donation drive, as part of her National Honor Society project.

Nottingham requests dog, cat, and horse supplies - leashes, bowls, collars, and vitamins. To donate to Cots for Critters, individuals can call Nottingham at 407-718-5728, or find her on Facebook at "Leah Nottingham."

She also has a website set up at: allbeauty4315.wixsite.com/Ivna

Nottingham will also have a donation box set up at New Martinsville's Tractor Supply.

Nottingham is currently an accelerated high school junior and takes multiple college classes. She has sufficient credits to graduate now.

Nottingham aspires to be a veterinarian and open up her own low-cost animal clinic for those who cannot pay the full amount at a normal vet office.

Nottingham recently moved to Tyler County from Orlando, Florida and was very active in her FFA chapter in Florida.

After high school, she hopes to attend West Virginia Northern Community College to obtain her undergraduate credits. She then wants to enroll at Cornell University to take Veterinary Medicine courses.

"Animals have always been my passion, and I plan on making a huge difference in the field of Veterinary Medicine," Nottingham said.
