To The Editor,

To the citizens of Wetzel County: On Friday, Dec. 15, the citizens of Wetzel County will be voting on the future of Wetzel County Schools. Voters will decide if our schools continue to grow or improve, or if they are limited in their ability to provide a quality education for our students.

The Excess Levy is a five-year, 100 percent levy that generates close to $15.5 million annually for Wetzel County Schools. These funds are used to provide programs and services for students, improve and maintain facilities, and provide benefits for employees.

The Excess Levy WILL NOT increase taxes for the citizens of Wetzel County. It will instead assure a quality educational experience exists for the students of Wetzel County.

The Wetzel County Excess Levy has been endorsed by the Wetzel County Education Association. We ask that you help us provide a great educational experience for our students by voting for the Wetzel County Excess Levy.

Thank you.
