Cecil said emergency personnel also responded, and parents were notified of the accident, which involved the bus and another vehicle.

Police are currently unsure who was at fault for the accident, which is still being investigated. Police will be watching the bus' surveillance video to aid in the investigation.

Superintendent Ed Toman said school officials are unaware of any injuries. A child was transported by emergency services, to the hospital, because the child's parents could not be reached.

Two nurses from the school system were also on scene, along with county office staff.

Superintendent Toman commended Director of Facilities Brian Jones and school officials on their response to the accident, along with the response of NMPD.

Jones said there was no damage to the bus other than a scuff mark. He said the other vehicle -- a small compact vehicle -- sustained damage to a rear door and a quarter panel. However Jones was unaware of any injuries to the other vehicle's occupant.
