Dominion Donates to Community

October 11, 2017
Wetzel Chronicle

Dominion has been busy investing in its community lately as two organizations were recently gifted with donations from the company. The Dominion Energy Foundation recently presented a check for $1,000 to the Engineer Energy kids at Short Line School. Then, the Hastings operations of Dominion Energy Transmission Inc. recently donated 25 gallons of tinted waterproofer to the Wetzel County Animal Shelter, to be used to paint new kennels and the office at the shelter. The kennels house 10 dogs and are climate controlled. The shelter is looking for volunteers to help apply the waterproofing material. Those interested in helping to paint the shelter, or visit the animals, are encouraged in calling the shelter at 304-455-5348. To view available pets for adoption, check out
