Preserve Our History

July 5, 2017
Wetzel Chronicle

We are very grateful to the New Martinsville Public Library for its "Friends of the Library" programs. We had the opportunity last week to attend one of these events, as exemplified by the story on our front page this week. Charlie Sebroski shared a wealth of knowledge, with a captivated audience, on Indigenous People of the Ohio Valley. His decades of exploring and retrieving ancient tools used by native peoples is evident in both his collection and his enthusiasm to share his knowledge.

Sebroski's visit to the library is just an example of one of the many wonderful programs the library has to offer.

These programs are always listed in our Coming Events section, and we encourage people to attend.

We are lucky to have these programs, thanks to the "Friends of the Library."
