The Pilots' Lauren Flannery scored a game-high 22 points en route to a 56-51 victory over Shadyside in the OVAC third place match-up with Shadyside on Feb. 16 at RL Potts Gymnasium.
After losing twice to the Lady Pilots during the regular season, the Lady Tigers thought it would be hard to beat a good team three times, and Shadyside felt this was going to be their day, and held a 13-11 advantage after one period of play.
Butthe Pilots would have nothing of that and outscored their guests 16-5 in the second stanza to take a 27-18 lead at the break.
