Herrick, Clem N., 84, of Proctor, went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2008, in New Martinsville Health Care Center, New Martinsville.

Moore, Clara Virginia, 100, of New Martinsville, died April 29, 2008, in New Martinsville Health Care Center.

Morgan, David Paul, 65, of Jacksonburg, died May 1, 2008, at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.

Standiford, William Eugene, 78, of Virginia Street, New Martinsville, died May 4, 2008, in the New Martinsville Health Care Center.

Wright, Iris Justina Kincaid, 94, passed away in The Woodlands, Texas, on May 3, 2008, after a brief illness.

Argabrite, Vivian Clark, 85, of (Endicott Community) Littleton, died April 28, 2008, at her residence.

Bartrug, Jeannette E., 96, of Kanawha City, W.Va. passed away on April 24 , 2008, at home.

Moore, Clara V., 100, of 359 Hill St., New Martinsville, passed away on April 29, 2008.

Moore, Holly Lynn, infant daughter of Cara L. Spencer and Danny M. Moore II of Middlebourne, passed away April 23, 2008. at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale.

Roberts, Martha L., 80, of Chester, W.Va., passed away April 19, 2008. She was born November 17, 1927, in Folsom, the daughter of the late Glenn and Opal Hayhurst Bates.

Rush, Frankie J., 82, of Pine Grove, died April 24, 2008, at her home.

Turley, B.K. ‘Moe’, of Liberty Township, Ohio, former resident of New Martinsville and beloved husband of Barbara Jean Turley, made his passage to Glory on April 27, 2008. B.K. was born May 26, 1929, in St. Albans, W.Va, the son of Hobart and Eva Ball Turley.

Ault, Jesse Adam (Chap), 28, of Dublin, Va., formerly of Middlebourne, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in Tunnis, Iraq. Jesse was born February 18, 1980, in Wheeling, W.Va. a son of Ronald Ault and Virginia Elaine von Dran Ault Billiter. Jesse was a Protestant, a 1998 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School, he had served four years with the 82nd Airborne Unit from Fort Bragg, N.C., and currently was serving with the 429th Brigade Support Battalion of the Virginia Army National Guard.

Brown, Erma Ruth, 96, a devoted Christian wife and mother, went to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, on April 20, 2008, at her residence in Pine Grove.

Culley, Eileen, 74, of Riverview Terrace, New Martinsville, died April 17, 2008, at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.

Taylor, Carrie J., 94, of The Heritage, St. Marys, and formerly of New Martinsville and Huntington.

Wyckoff, Bonnie Ann, 99, of Evan’s Run, Mannington, passed way on April 8, 2008, at her residence. She was born July 29, 1908, at Smithfield, a daughter of the late Reuben and Nancy Hinerman Ensminger.

Yost, Edward, 79, of New Martinsville, died April 11, 2008, at home.

Adams, Ethel Mae, 80, of Route 1, New Martinsville, formerly of Smithfield, died April 14, 2008, at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.

Briggs, Nancy, 66, of Wellsville, Ohio, died April 5, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, Pa. She had suffered a massive stroke on Feb. 15, 2008.

Dotson, Creed D., 72, of Folsom, died at home surrounded by his family on April 9, 2008.

Freeland, Agnes P., died peacefully on April 13, 2008, at Clark County Regional Hospital in Winchester, Ky. She was born on January 5, 1916, in Smithfield to the late Isaiah and Laura Albright. She was a member of the Democratic State Executive Committee and served the second senatorial district for many years. She was a member of United Christian Fellowship, Middlebourne. She attended Central Baptist Church while living in Winchester, Ky.

Garrison, Perman A., 86, of New Freeport, Pa., died April 8, 2008, in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, Pa.

Lambert, Thomas O., 70, of Sistersville Center, Sistersville, formerly of Middlebourne, departed this life April 13, 2008, in the facility. He was born in Middlebourne on December 4, 1937, a son of the late Edward John and Leota Burgbacher Lambert Shinn.

Nellie “Pearl” Liska, 91, formerly of Linn Street Manor, Williamsport, Pa., died April 10, 2008, at Sycamore Manor, Montoursville, Pa., where she had been a resident for four years.

Northcraft, Joseph N., 75, of Paden City, died April 8, 2008, at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
