The Wetzel County Chamber of Commerce’s Awards Dinner will be held April 24 at the Mollohan Center at the Wetzel County 4-H grounds.

Winners, nominated by members of the community, have been chosen by the dinner committee. Winners for 2008 are:

Business Owners of the Year—Donna Titus, Santina Vigliotti, and Deanna McConaughey, Presto Lunch.

Employee of the Year—Ina Robinson, West Virginia Northern Community College.

Professional of the Year—Dr. Anissa Anderson.

Educator of the Year—Virgil Wilkins, Hundred High School.

Youth Leadership/Volunteer of the Year—Laura Kane, Magnolia High School.

Civic Organization of the Year—Hundred Area P.R.I.D.E.

Citizen of the Year—Danny Westfall.

The social including a cash bar begins at 5:30 and the dinner, catered by Quinet’s Court Restaurant, will be at 6 p.m. with the awards presentations following.

Reservations can now be made by contacting the Chamber office at 455-3825. Tickets are $25 each for Chamber members, $30 for non-members, or tables of eight can be reserved for $200.
